It can also speak files to you. You can control the volume as well as the reading speed.
The File Editor can also adjust colors, fonts, text size, character spacing and more to best fit the user's vision constraints.
File Editor can create new files, which must be placed in one of the following folders:
As part of installation, EZReader creates these folders and places several sample files in the folders.
Files in the System folder can be edited but not renamed nor deleted. These files are necessary for EZReader operation.
The user can scroll through the book using the mouse, keyboard or with gestures.
To search, type in a search term and press enter or press one of the Search icons. The book will
scroll in the selected direction to the next occurrence of the search term in the book content.
EZReader will beep twice if the search is not found. Search is not case sensitive.
The EZReader editor main screen has 3 rows of navigation/action icons. The right-most "Menu" icon is used to move through the rows of icons. Right-click on the Menu icon to move through the rows of icons in the reverse direction.
The Menu icon consist of multiple dots, where the number of dots tells you how many rows of icons are available. The dot with the white center indicates which row is currently displayed.
The three rows of toolbar icons perform the following functions:
Files can be created and deleted, with the exception of the System folder, where files may be edited but not deleted (because System
files are necessary for EZReader operation).
Click on a toolbar folder icons to display the files in that folder.
To open a file, click on the file name and press the "Open" icon in the toolbar. Or, you'd can open a file
by double-clicking on the name.
The two rows of toolbar icons perform the following functions:
OverView
The EZReader File Editor allows you to create and edit text files.
Editor Main Screen
The EZReader Editor screen contains a toolbar and 3 textboxes. The upper left textbox displays the book title. The upper right textbox displays a search term. The lower textbox contains the content of the book.

Files and Folders
There are four folders available to File Editor - Personal, Business, Other and System. Users may not create additional folders.
